Ethical Code of Conduct

 This code of conduct serves as a guide for the coach to behave ethically and responsibly and to provide high-quality coaching services to clients. It is crucial for the coach to adhere to these principles to maintain the trust and confidence of clients and the public. 


1. Confidentiality 

The Coach shall maintain the confidentiality of clients and shall not disclose any information obtained through coaching to third parties, except as required by law or where there is a risk of harm to self or others.


2. Professionalism 

The Coach shall conduct themselves in a professional manner, avoiding any conduct that may bring their profession into disrepute.


3. Competence 

The Coach shall provide coaching services only within the scope of their competence and shall continuously strive to improve their knowledge and skills.


4. Responsibility 

The Coach shall be responsible for their own actions and decisions and shall not make any false or misleading statements or claims about their qualifications, experience, or abilities.


5. Informed Consent 

The Coach shall obtain informed consent from their clients before providing coaching services and shall inform their clients of any potential risks and benefits associated with coaching.


6. Dual Relationships 

The Coach shall avoid dual relationships with their clients that could impair their objectivity or create a conflict of interest.


7. Billing and Fees 

The Coach shall be transparent and fair in their billing and fee practices and shall avoid any practices that could be perceived as unethical or exploitative.


8. Advertising 

The Coach shall be truthful and accurate in their advertising and shall avoid making any false or misleading claims about their services.


9. Respect for clients 

The Coach shall respect their clients' autonomy, dignity, rights, and beliefs.


10. Continuous Improvement 

The Coach shall continuously strive to improve their knowledge and skills and shall seek feedback from their clients to enhance their coaching practice.
